Teaching the world’s next generation of scientists and innovators is a rewarding job that is integral to society. Equipping grade 10, 11 and 12 students with the real-world skills they need to have a successful career in science, technology, engineering or math prepares students for higher learning in these fields. This Workshop provides professional development for high school STEM teachers as part of the STEM GEMS program, which aims to enhance scientific literacy of students, while also upskilling their teachers.
These Workshops are tailored sessions for large groups of people (> 7) to provide a high-level overview of key aspects of the Sativus GEMS professional development program. They can be held over multiple, consecutive days and include interactive components to enhance the learning experience.
